The Governors at Halton Holegate C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic caretaker to join the dedicated school team. We are looking for someone who will really care for our school, ensuring it looks its best, is safe and exemplifies the high expectations we have of our children.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running and safety of the school.
You will be required to understand and operate the school’s security and fire alarm systems and may be required to open and/or lock up at the end of the day. There will also be an element of outside work maintaining the school grounds and wider site.
There will be a period of induction and safeguarding and first aid training will be required. You will also be expected to take part in routine staff training where relevant.
Contract type: Permanent to start 1st October 2024 or as soon as possible
This post will be for 17.5 hours per week, with some flexibility available on precise timings. This post is for 43 weeks of the year.

Fluency Duty
