The governors at Halton Holegate C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated and ideally experienced Teaching Assistant with the additional role of Midday Supervisory Assistant.  At our school, we believe passionately in creating a caring and supportive environment where children can flourish and develop a lifelong love for learning enabling them to become excellent and curious citizens of tomorrow. 

The school would be willing to separate the two roles or accept more than one individual to job share the combined role.

The successful candidate will be:

Additional MSA Duties include

  • Supervising children during the meal and afterwards in the playground
  • Assisting in preparing the hall for dining, including setting out tables and chairs, as appropriate
  • Distributing meals and serve milk where required
  • Clearing tables and collect rubbish, wash and stack away tables, chairs and cleaning dining area as required
  • Actively promoting our school behaviour policy and manage behaviour accordingly
  • Dealing with incidents of first aid, complete records and reporting as per our school policy
