Mathematics 
This year, we are pleased to be working together with the East Midlands East Maths Hub to promote the teaching of Mastery in maths. Miss Burn is our Maths Lead and is part of a Developing Work Group. Mr Baldock is also a Headteacher Advocate for the Maths Hub and was a Primary Maths Specialist in his previous school.
Mathematics Vision Statement
Mathematics is an important, creative discipline that helps us to understand the world around us. We want all pupils at Halton Holegate C of E Primary School to experience the power and enjoyment of mathematics and develop a sense of curiosity about the subject with a clear understanding, leading to the development of skills that will enable our children to become active global citizens. We strive to enable all children to have a deep understanding of key mathematical concepts that will enable them to have access to a wider range of opportunities as they grow into adulthood.
