Swimming and Water Safety
Halton Holegate Church of England Primary School actively promotes Swimming and Water Safety for all our children.
Our children go swimming through out the academic year. Class 3 attend swimming lessons through Term 1, Class 2 through Term 4 and Class 1 through Term 5.
Our children swim every Tuesday for an hour with JB Sports.
In our 2022/23 Year 6 cohort, 64% of pupils meet the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres.
