Welcome to our website.

At Halton Holegate, we work as a team.  All staff, children, parents, Governors and the Church are valuable members of this team. We consider ourselves the Halton Holegate family.   Visitors to the school regularly comment on the calm environment and warm, family atmosphere.

We guide pupils in their journey through school to become excellent role models within the community and encourage them to take on roles and responsibilities. Many of our children become monitors or prefects as they progress through the school and with a strong and thoughtful School Council, we ensure they feel listened to and develop their sense of worth.

At Halton Holegate, we recognise the huge role you as parents play in your child’s education and endeavour to do all we can to support you in this. Our school holds regular Parents’ Evenings so that your child’s achievements can be celebrated, targets/next steps shared and progress discussed with each class teacher.  We are available for you on a daily basis if you need information or advice regarding how to help your child at home.

Some parents support the school beyond the classroom as part of the well-established and highly committed “Friends of Halton Holegate School Association” (FOHHS) of which we are extremely proud and grateful.

In keeping with the team ethos, we are also part of a collaborative partnership with 5 local primary schools. You can find out more about us in our School Information section.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school. I understand how important selecting the right school for your child is to you. If you would like to come to Halton Holegate for a visit where you can look around the school and meet our wonderful staff and children , then please feel free to contact the school. (Contact details are at the very top of the page.)
